DURATION: 4 WEEKS
 
OBJECT: LEARN TO SURF + SPEAK FRENCH + COOKING (optional) + Discovery of the basque countrySpain and France
 
QUALIFICATION:
“CERTIFICAT D’APTITUDE A LA LANGUE FRANCAISE”, CERTIFICATE BASIC FRENCH COOKING  (delivered by GRETA) AND A SURF LEVEL CETIFICATE (french federation of surf).      

LOCATION:
Guethary Southwest of France (one of the most famous surf spots in Europe, 15 min south of Biarritz, 15 min north of Spain).

FRENCH TRAINING CONTENT:
-      20 hours of French tuition with a fully qualified French teacher (5 hours a week), immersed in a French environment.
 
SURF TRAINING CONTENT:
-      4 hours surf tuition a day, 5 days a week, the sessions take place on different beaches depending the ocean conditions, and the equipment is available for extra sessions at the week end.
-      1 hour a week of theory tuition related to surfing: ocean & forecast knowledge, history & evolution of surfing, the art of shaping a board.
-      The trainees can enjoy the different documentation furnished by the school (videos, books, magazines).
-      Wide choice of surf gear

cooking courses:
English teaching, basic french cooking technics, 12 hours tuition (3 hours a week). Optional.

ACCOMODATION:
 -      in a big traditional Basque house, ocean view, 100m from the beach(over 8 people) or in a large flat in front of the famous wave of Guethary Parlementia (under 8 people). 2/3 people a room.
-      half board , breakfast, tea & dinner ( traditional French food).
 
XTRAS:
Three excursions (one a week):
-       N°1: San Sebastian, cruise around in the beautifullest city of the Basque country with its “concha” and the numerous bodegas where you’ll enjoy tapas before going dancing.
-      N°2 & 3: surf trips to les Landes (one of the best beach breaks in the world) or  to Northern Spain according to the surf conditions.
 
PRICE:  3125 euros (30% deposit is required for booking)

4 weeks half board accommodation.

80 hours surf tuition.
Equipment (board & wetsuit), insurance from the Federation Française de surf”, transfers to and from the airport or train station to the surfcamp. A French diploma from the GRETA ( National Minister of Education, adults formation).
